

Emergency Services and Transport for North Jefferson County MO

Founded in 1975, the North Jefferson County Ambulance District serves residents living in areas of northern Jefferson County. The District operates two ambulance hub locations in High Ridge and Fenton. Emergency crews at the High Ridge location respond to emergency calls in High Ridge, Byrnes Mill, House Springs, and the areas of Eureka located within the Jefferson County boundary. The secondary Fenton hub responds to emergency calls within the Jefferson County boundary of Fenton.

The District includes 40 paramedics. North Jefferson County Ambulance District is a Bureau of Emergency Medical Services licensed agency, Drug Enforcement Agency, Bureau of Narcotic and Dangerous Drugs and CLIA certified.
In 2013, the Missouri Emergency Medical Services Association (MEMSA) honored the District with the Missouri Ambulance Service of the Year award.
About the District's Leadership Team
About Jennifer Wilson
Jennifer Wilson is the Business Manager for the District. She oversees the business operations and day-to-day functions of the Administrative offices. She also facilitates District-wide benefits as well as overseeing asset and project management.
About Jeremy Walter
Jeremey Walter is the Chief Medical Officer. He oversees the EMT and paramedic teams at the District. He also facilitates onboarding and training and ensures District-wide compliance with emergency medical response and first aid best practices.

Board of Directors
Residents elect a Board of Directors of six individuals that provides oversight and guidance for the District. The Board members serve a three-year term. Meetings are held the third Monday of each month (6:15 p.m.) at the district administration offices.

The Board approves all District expenditures. In addition, Board members also manage the hiring process for District Chief and Business Manager.
Meetings are open to the public, and minutes are available in compliance with Missouri's Sunshine Law.

Pay Your Ambulance Bill Online
Residents in the District's boundaries are billed beyond what is covered by their private health insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare. However, individuals who received care from the District and live outside our service area's boundaries may receive additional charges for ambulance transportation and related care
