We strive to provide for our community timely information on District activities and educational opportunities for you to interact with your ambulance district. North Jefferson County Ambulance District (NJCAD) is committed to providing our community the highest quality Advanced Life Support Medical Services. NJCAD is also committed to providing many educational opportunities for our community including but not limited to CPR, First Aid and Car Seat Safety etc.
In our continuing effort to deliver the highest level of emergency care to our residents, all NJCAD operations personnel are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation and Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support. All personnel are trained in administering care to our elderly with dementia or alzheimer?s, behvorial emergencies, extensive training in cardiac and stroke related emergencies etc. All NJCAD ambulances are Missouri State Certified in Pediatric Care.
NJCAD consistently reviews every component of our operation both administratively and operationally. NJCAD is always implementing and operating under the best practices in all areas ensuring the continued delivery of outstanding emergency medical services to our community.
In April 2012, I was appointed Chief of NJCAD. I began my career with NJCAD in 1994 and have served in every capacity from volunteer paramedic to Assistant Chief and presently serve proudly as your Chief. My family and I moved to the local area in 1995. As a result, we together are committed to making this community the best possible for your family and ours.
